ESG & Sustainability

We develop infrastructure aligned with DeSoto County and the communities we serve while supporting responsible growth, reliable power, and long-term local benefit.

DCIP Group ESG Principles

Powering Growth. Protecting What Matters.

Community Infrastructure

The DCIP facility is designed to operate entirely behind the meter, meaning it generates and uses its own power on-site rather than drawing from the local electric grid. This approach ensures that our operations will not impact electricity availability or rates for residents or businesses in DeSoto County. By producing our own energy, we take pressure off the local system instead of adding to it, so the community’s power remains reliable and affordable.

Responsible Water Use & Conservation

We are committed to protecting DeSoto County’s valuable water resources. Our facility will prioritize the use of reclaimed water from the City of Arcadia, along with stormwater collection systems to further reduce reliance on groundwater. When groundwater is used, it will be carefully metered and monitored in coordination with the Southwest Florida Water Management District to ensure there is no negative impact on the local water table or neighboring properties. In addition, we will deploy advanced cooling technologies that minimize water consumption, recognizing that local farmers and residents depend on these shared resources every day.

Respect for Our Neighbors

We are designing our site with the surrounding community in mind. Using state-of-the-art acoustic modeling, we will ensure that sound levels remain well within acceptable limits and do not create a nuisance. We will also incorporate modern lighting technology to prevent light from spilling onto neighboring properties, preserving the natural nighttime environment. Every aspect of our project is being planned to operate responsibly, quietly, and respectfully within the community.
